Since August 2005, the largest fashion festival in history has been held twice a year with the theme of ‘Spreading Japanese Girl Culture to the World’—the ‘TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION’ (TGC).

■ The theme is “Bloom the Baton”

As TGC Kitakyushu celebrates its 10th anniversary, we honor the city’s rich history and the values it has carefully nurtured over the years, while passing them on to the next generation.

This is more than simply carrying on a tradition. By embracing new perspectives and individuality, we create a beautiful cycle of creativity that continues to evolve.

Like flowers nurtured by the abundant nature of Fukuoka, the hopes and dreams of every generation come together to color the future of Kitakyushu with new vibrancy.

With gratitude for the past 10 years, we proudly pass the baton of inspiration to the next decade.

〈About TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION〉
TGC is one of the largest-scale fashion festivals in history. It has been held twice a year since August 2005 under the theme of “Spreading Japanese Girl Culture to the World” A total of about 100 popular models representative of Japan perform in a fashion show displaying Japan’s street fashion. The festival also features live performances by impressive artists, a special stage filled with popular guests, booths where participants can touch and try popular items, and various other contents unique to TGC. TGC has been gaining attention both in Japan and abroad.
