SBI SECURITIES presents TGC MATSUYAMA 2026 by TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION (SBI SECURITIES presents TGC MATSUYAMA 2026) will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at the Ehime Prefectural Budokan.

Since August 2005, the largest fashion festival in history has been held twice a year with the theme of ‘Spreading Japanese Girl Culture to the World’—the ‘TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION’ (TGC).

■ The theme is “RETRO-FUTURE SUMMER”

Matsuyama is a city where the landscapes cherished by Meiji-era literary figures and haiku poets seamlessly connect with cutting-edge urban functions. With the newly reimagined Matsuyama City Station as the gateway, a journey freely moving between the past (RETRO) and the future (FUTURE) begins.

Explore Gudahō-an, the only place where Natsume Soseki and Masaoka Shiki once lived together, along with numerous haiku monuments scattered throughout the city. After walking through streets that still carry the footsteps of these literary masters and the nostalgic back alleys of Mitsuhama, hop on a boat and set out for the blue seas of Gogoshima.

TGC amplifies the hybrid charm of this city with its overwhelming energy, delivering an exhilarating summer that leaps across history—from the Meiji era to the present day.

TGC is one of the largest-scale fashion festivals in history. It has been held twice a year since August 2005 under the theme of “bringing Japan’s girls’ culture to the world.” A total of about 100 popular models representative of Japan perform in a fashion show displaying Japan’s street fashion. The festival also features live performances by impressive artists, a special stage filled with popular guests, booths where participants can touch and try popular items, and various other contents unique to TGC. TGC has been gaining attention both in Japan and abroad.
