CREATEs presents TGC KITAKYUSHU 2024 by TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION (hereafter CREATEs presents TGC KITAKYUSHU 2024) will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at West Japan General Exhibition Center.

Since August 2005, the largest fashion festival in history has been held twice a year with the theme of ‘Spreading Japanese Girl Culture to the World’—the ‘TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION’ (TGC).

■The theme is “Renew”

The 8th TGC Kitakyushu will be held under the theme of “Renew,” continuing to evolve towards the next era while inheriting its history together with the co-hosts, Kitakyushu City and Fukuoka Prefecture

In this event, we will widely convey the message of Kitakyushu City’s “Sustainable” initiatives and Fukuoka Prefecture’s “One Health” approach, which integrates the protection of human health, animal health, and environmental health. Through TGC Kitakyushu, we aim to inspire citizens of Kitakyushu and young people across the country to renew their awareness of environmental and social issues and to think about a sustainable future. Additionally, we will discover and showcase new attractions and values of Kitakyushu City and Fukuoka Prefecture, and communicate the latest trends gathered at TGC to the nation and the world.

〈About TOKYO GIRLS COLLECTION〉
TGC is one of the largest-scale fashion festivals in history. It has been held twice a year since August 2005 under the theme of “bringing Japan’s girls’ culture to the world.” A total of about 100 popular models representative of Japan perform in a fashion show displaying Japan’s street fashion. The festival also features live performances by impressive artists, a special stage filled with popular guests, booths where participants can touch and try popular items, and various other contents unique to TGC. TGC has been gaining attention both in Japan and abroad.
